On Tuesday, September 28, the City of Corner Brook will hold a general municipal election. In Newfoundland and Labrador, general municipal elections are held every four years on the last Tuesday in September. In Corner Brook voters choose one Mayor and six Councilors for Council. The City operates under an “at-large” system in which its elected officials are chosen to represent the City as a whole.
For the 2021 General Election the City is offering a hybrid of voting methods – in person voting, proxy voting, advance poll voting or residents can opt for vote by mail (*NEW*)
