Sarah Parsons is a lifelong resident of Corner Brook and a proud single mother of two young daughters. She works as a Child and Youth Care Worker and Student Assistant, supporting children and families with compassion, patience, and dedication. Before this, Sarah spent eight years in the service industry, where she gained valuable experience in teamwork, customer service, and problem-solving—skills she carries into her community work and leadership today.
Sarah also serves as Co-Chair of the Corner Brook Status of Women’s Council, sits on the board of West Haven Camp, and contributes to local initiatives such as affordable housing development. With thousands of hours of volunteer service across organizations—from St. John Ambulance and the Red Cross to youth programs and community events—she brings both empathy and practical leadership to her work.
Some of her priorities include:
Creating a stronger commitment to support small businesses and local entrepreneurs.
Establishing an affordable housing committee that brings together residents, contractors, community leaders, and government.
Retaining families and young people by investing in opportunities and quality of life.
Being transparent and honest with residents, and always doing her best to get them the answers they deserve.
Sarah’s campaign is built on dedication, transparency, and respect for residents. Above all, she is determined to listen, learn, and work tirelessly to make Corner Brook a city where people want to stay, grow, and come home to.
