Pam Keeping

Pam Keeping is a passionate leader, longtime volunteer, and proud resident of Corner Brook. Twenty-three years ago, Pam and her family moved to the city in search of new opportunities—and they found a vibrant, welcoming community where they could live, work, raise their family, and stay active.

For 17 years, Pam successfully owned and operated a small business before joining the Veitch Wellness team in 2007. Her entrepreneurial background, combined with her dedication to service, laid the foundation for her leadership on Corner Brook City Council. Over the past four years as a City councillor, Pam has been honoured to represent residents, listen to their concerns, and champion meaningful initiatives that strengthen the community.

During her time on council, she has contributed to key committees—including Community Partners, Recreation & Tourism, Accessibility, and the Youth Advisory Committee—helping drive positive change in areas like inclusion, family support, and tourism growth.

Pam’s passion for volunteerism runs deep. She has spent more than 20 years supporting organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society, where she has served as Chairperson, the CIBC Run for the Cure, Relay for Life, the Corner Brook Winter Carnival, and local mental health and suicide prevention initiatives. Her community leadership has earned her multiple Citizen of the Year nominations (2010, 2015) and a Canadian Cancer Society merit award for outstanding service.

Pam’s commitment to Corner Brook remains unwavering: she continues to champion accessibility, support economic growth, advocate for modern infrastructure, and promote community-first planning that celebrates the city’s natural beauty and strong sense of belonging.

Keeping, Pam
