Hi I’m Eddie Kennedy!

I am seeking your vote in the upcoming municipal election for Corner Brook city council.

I’ve had the privilege of building a career and a life right here in our beloved community. We all know the west coast is the best coast, but to be from Corner Brook is a privilege. I was born and raised here, raised my family here, worked my whole life here. I’m ready to bring my experience proven leadership and dedication to City Hall.

I have been dedicated to my career with the same family owned company for over 40 years. I have been a pillar of the community, bringing over four decades of outstanding customer service and business leadership along with a deep commitment to the community. With a proven track record of fiscal responsibility and a keen understanding of economic growth, I have spent a lifetime building relationships and creating jobs right here in our beautiful city.

Having raised my family here I have been a dedicated father volunteer with Scouts Canada Leadership program and am still an active volunteer/coach in the Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association. I’ve watched our kids grow up, and I’ve seen first-hand the spirit and resilience that makes our city so special.

I also volunteer my time and knowledge with business associations, where I worked side-by-side with local entrepreneurs to help build and strengthen our small business community. As general manager of a family run business I understand first-hand the challenges our small business community face.

I am deeply invested in the well-being of our city and the people who make it great.

I believe in working as a team. I believe through respectful dialogue, community connection and collaboration. Your voice will impact all of our futures. I’m ready to bring my experience and leadership to City Hall for you.

I’m running for City Council because I believe in our community unity and our city’s potential.

I’m here to listen and work together to create a future we can all be proud of.

As a city council member, I will champion responsible spending, support local small businesses, and advocate for community-driven initiatives. I am ready to put my decades of practical experience to work for you.
