Linda Chaisson

Linda Chaisson is a dedicated resident and educator in Corner Brook, with 42 years of experience in the community. A proud Memorial University graduate with a Primary Education degree, she later pursued further education, earning Master’s degrees in Inclusive Education and Literacy.

As a Councillor and Deputy Mayor, Linda has served the city for multiple terms, championing initiatives that benefit the community. She chairs the Youth Advisory Committee and the Accessibility and Inclusive Committee, working tirelessly to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Additionally, Linda is a board member of the Humber Valley Community Employment Corporation, supporting employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.

Linda is a passionate supporter of local events, organizations, and initiatives, often attending craft fairs, walks, trade functions, arts events, and Royals hockey games. Her commitment to the community is evident in her tireless efforts to make Corner Brook a better place for all residents.
